From the Bottled Up collection, I’ve Seen Myself in Your Shadows recognises the traits we share in common with our family members. Difficult parts of ourselves that we might try to hide from and eventually must challenge ourselves to accept so that we can change what no longer serves us.
Shown in early 2025, the Bottled Up exhibition was a homage to my dad, who was a bottled-up kind of guy. But more than that, it’s also a comment on how we bottle things up as a culture.
